At Robin's home in Hackney (unless it gets too big!) - arrive from 6:30. We will light candles at 7pm, warm up our voices a bit, and sing! (And of course, eat - bring a bit of food to share.) Songs of the spirit, songs for social change - Jewish and not, liturgical and secular - bring a song to share if you want. Singing together is a powerful and joyous way to bring in Shabbat. We'll include some of our familiar service melodies, and maybe learn a new one. Emphasis on enjoyment, with the potential to become more familiar with what we sing at services, and more confident as a singer. Led by Robin, on the fourth or fifth Friday of the month.
