Passover Community Seder

What to Expect
Passover at Kehillah is joyful, curious, a little noisy, and very much a community effort. Join us for our Second Night Community Seder, where we’ll gather around long tables to retell the story of liberation through song, conversation, ritual, and plenty of good food. Whether this is your first seder or one of many, and whatever your age, background, or level of experience, there is a seat waiting for you.
Our seder is participatory, welcoming, and full of Kehillah spirit. Come ready to sing, ask questions, meet new people, and help bring the evening to life.
A seder made by the community
Everyone brings a (veg) dish to share, which means the table fills up quickly with an eclectic and delicious spread. We do provide some wine and grape juice, but we encourage everyone to bring some more to share.
Food Guidelines
Vegetarian, vegan, dairy and fish dishes are welcome (fish must have fins and scales, so no shellfish or seafood).
We follow the Sephardi custom of allowing beans and rice, but please clearly label dishes that contain them, as not everyone in our community will eat them.
To be suitable for Passover, your dish must be free of hametz (leavened wheat, oats, barley, spelt and rye). This includes alcohols, vinegars, and other grain-derived condiments.
Questions encouraged (actually, required)
Curiosity is part of the tradition. Expect lively discussion, thoughtful moments, and the occasional joyful interruption.
BYOHaggadah
We use the LJ Haggadah and don’t have enough copies for all, so feel free to bring your own along to help guide the evening. You can order one here by 23 March, or download for Kindle here
Pesach: Kehillah Style
Warm, inclusive, a little chaotic in the best way, and filled with music, storytelling, and community.
Book Your Tickets
We ask for a donation per ADULT (18+), and please book a free ticket for any children under 18 - we sell out every year so please book early to ensure your spot! We cannot accept walk-ins nor guarantee availability, and tickets are limited to venue capacity.
To keep our community safe, you will receive the location of the seder (in N4) the week of the event. We appreciate your patience.
If the ticket costs would prohibit your attendance at the seder, please email info@kehillah.org.uk - we never want money to get in the way of anyone being part of our Kehillah.
